Undergrad: Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, IL
Medical School: Indiana University School of Medicine
Born in Wilmington, DE and raised in Indianapolis, IN, Colleen graduated from Lake Forest College, in Lake Forest, IL. She graduated from IUSM in 2006, and completed an internship in OB/GYN before recognizing that her real calling was in Family Medicine, and the continuity of care and patient relationship-building that FM offers. "I did a rotation at St Vincent as a student, and was so impressed with the quality of the education, the diversity of the patient population and most importantly, the dedicated faculty and residents who practiced there. As soon as I realized I was going to transfer programs, I contacted St Vincent immediately. I continue to be amazed with the depth of knowledge of our faculty, as well as the quality and camaraderie of my fellow residents. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this exceptional residency program."
In her spare time, Colleen enjoys spending time with her new puppy and her 13 nieces & nephews and playing 'Rock Band' with some of the more musically-talented residents. She also enjoys travel, especially those opportunities to learn and volunteer in places like Honduras, Nicaraugua and Kenya.
