Rodney Guimont, MD

American University of the Caribbean

I was born and raised on the east side of Indianapolis. I received a B.A. in Biology from Purdue and M.A. from Purdue in Biology. I attended AUC (American University of the Caribbean) for medical school. St. Vincent was a perfect place for me to do my residency! The faculty and residents are top notch, and I enjoy being a part of the St. V's family. My areas of interest are sports medicine and rural medicine. I enjoy serving as a sideline physician to a local high school football team yearly. I plan on practicing in NW Indiana in a rural/underserved community. I enjoy spending time with my wife (Jill) and son (Eli). My hobbies are duck hunting, deer hunting, fishing, and camping. When I'm not practicing medicine or on call you can find me in a tree stand, duck blind, or on a fishing boat depending on the season. If I wasn't a physician, I think I would enjoy having an outdoor show on ESPN, OLN, or Versus.................I'm just waiting for a talent scout to find me in the woods.
