Dr. Prystowsky, the Cardiovascular Disease Program Director:

  • Editor in Chief for the Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology
  • Section Editor of Arrhythmias for Hurst textbook of Cardiology

  • Chairman of ABIM test writing committee for Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology

Highlights:

  • Extensive one-on-one time with EP Program Director, dedicated to teaching 2 full days per week in the EP lab and ½ day per week in the office with each fellow for 6 months.

  • Daily systems based practice exposure

  • Strong outpatient component with access to billing, coding and compliance, referring physicians and other services, consult appropriateness, computerized EMR, cost benefit medicine

  • Introduction to the business of medicine with one of the nations’ largest non-academic cardiology practice in the United States, rivaling the cardiology components of Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic in size, scope and expertise.
