Mission:

The mission of the St.Vincent Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program is to prepare physicians to excel in the art and science of interventional cardiovascular medical practice. We achieve our mission through diverse and comprehensive educational opportunities, a strong didactic program, and supervised clinical experience that maximizes autonomy. We value integrity, respect, quality service, scientific curiosity, leadership, highest ethical standards and an atmosphere that fosters active learning.

Goals of Training:

The overall goal of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program is to prepare our trainees as thoroughly as possible for careers as interventional cardiologists, recognizing the diversity of specific roles filled by cardiologists in our society, and cognizant of the importance of certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Trainees should gain comprehensive knowledge, skills, attitudes, and habits to ensure their professional success. It is our desire that this training reflect the Core Values of Ascension Health.
