What Sets Our Program Apart?

St.Vincent’s residency program in obstetrics and gynecology is an academically rigorous training program, balancing the supportive atmosphere of a community program with the opportunities afforded by a single, large quaternary care center. Subscpecialty experience is extensive, with the residents gaining significant exposure to gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, endocrinology/infertility, and maternal fetal medicine (the St.Vincent NICU, at 75 beds, is the largest single unit in the state of Indiana).

Residents learn and practice in a supportive environment, allowing them to develop to their fullest potential. St.Vincent’s core values of Service To the Poor, Reverence, Integrity, Wisdom, Creativity and Dedication are all actively demonstrated within the program, through the residents’ interactions with faculty staff, patients, support staff and fellow resident colleagues.
