St.Vincent Transitional Year and Preliminary Medicine residencies are intensive,
one-year programs that prepare graduates for subsequent training in a variety of
medical and surgical specialties. Through a solid core of required rotations and
a broad array of elective options, residents may tailor their education to meet
individual career goals. Teaching is a priority at St.Vincent and we strive to
train our residents to realize cost-effective quality care for their patients through
evidence-based medicine.
